I did the soundmix for artist Jiyan Düyü’s “Birds Fly Back” for both the linear edit and the two channel video installation. It was presented at the Eye Filmmuseum and the Gerrit Rietveld Academie during the Graduation Show of 2022. After that, the work won the Lakeside Collection Award.
The film got selected for the NFF (Nederlands Film Festival) Studentcompetition and won the Dutch Film Fund Wildcard.

A linear version was shown at the NFF (Nederlands Film Festival).

Part of the Lakeside Collection Exhibiton ‘Harvest 2023’ and exhibited from 25 August untill 25 October 2023 in Depot Boijmans Van Beuningen in Rotterdam. It was also shown at the Städelschule Rundgang 2024 in Frankfurt am Main in February.

For artist Narges Mohammadi I did the audio postproduction, mixing and music alterations for her short film A final attempt for refuge. The film follows the dismantling of the artwork Attempts for refuge as shown in the exhibition Who Wants To Live In A World Without Magic? Attempts for refuge lives on in various artworks, experiments, try-outs of the BA and MA Interior Architecture (KABK) and even isolates a sauna in Groningen.

At the invitation of Stedelijk Museum Schiedam, Narges Mohammadi created the spatial installation Invisible Hands. A tribute to Schiedam's home carers, consisting of common interior objects made of eraser. Narges asked me to edit / clean up the audio recording of a vulnerable phonecall between Narges and her mother.

The material Narges used in her installation symbolises the removal of the unwanted, just as less and less remains of home care (domestic help) as an invisible part of society.

‘More Plants’, a project with the concept of ‘Plant Rights’ at its core, exploring the connotations of Plant Rights and its evolving nature. The project was co-curated by Ju-An Hsieh and Yi Han Yang, and it was presented in collaboration with the Hortus Botanicus Leiden.

One of the works featured in the programme was a sound installation entitled ‘The Sex Life of Plants’, co-created by Ju-An and me. The artists invited the public to participate through an open call for poetry submissions on the theme of plant sex. Afterwards, the poems were com- bined with sound design to create the installation.
